Defective Item Return Policy

At AMP Basics, we understand that receiving a defective product can be frustrating. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction and provide a solution if any of our products are damaged or defective upon arrival. Below, we outline the steps and conditions under which you can return defective items and how we handle returns and refunds.

Conditions for Return

  1. Defective Items:

    • Returns are only accepted for defective items. If your product arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, we will gladly accept it back and provide either a full refund or a replacement, as per your preference.
    • To qualify for a return, the defect must be noticeable upon receiving the product.
    • We do not accept returns for items that have been used, damaged by the buyer, or altered in any way.
  2. Time Frame:

    • You must report the defective item to us within 7 days of receiving the product. This gives us a window to investigate the issue and ensure you are not left with a defective item.
    • Returns or exchanges requested after this period may not be eligible.
  3. Return Eligibility:

    • The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags still attached.
    • If the product was purchased as part of a promotion or clearance sale, it may be ineligible for return unless the defect is present.

How to Initiate a Return

To start the return process, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us:

    • Please contact our customer service team at support@ampbasics.com within 7 days of receiving the defective item. Include a clear description of the defect, along with photos or videos showing the damage. This will help our team assess the situation quickly.
    • Alternatively, you can visit our website’s Return/Refund section to submit a request.
  2. Return Authorization:

    • Once we receive your return request and verify the defect, we will issue a Return Authorization (RA). The RA will provide you with detailed instructions on how to send the product back to us.
    • Only products with an RA number will be accepted for return.
  3. Return Shipping:

    • For defective items, we will cover the return shipping costs. We will provide a prepaid shipping label to facilitate the return process.
    • If the return is not due to a defect, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

Refunds and Replacements

  1. Refund:

    • After we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you of the outcome of your return request.
    • If the item is deemed defective and eligible for return, we will initiate a full refund to your original payment method. The refund will be processed within 7-14 business days after the product has been returned and inspected.
    • Please note that the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider.
  2. Replacement:

    • If you prefer a replacement for the defective item, we will send you an identical product once the defective item has been returned and inspected.
    • If the original item is out of stock, we will contact you with alternative options or issue a full refund.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Items marked as Final Sale, Discounted, or Used are not eligible for return or refund unless they are defective.
  • If a product is found to be defective, it will be replaced or refunded.
